US Stock Indices Fluctuate as West Texas Oil Rises

Major US stock indices fluctuated last night by slight, comparable margins, while the price of US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil rose by $4 to reach $82.30 per barrel.

At the close of Monday’s trading session, the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 60 points to decline to 53,976 points, a decrease of 0.11 percent.

The US Nasdaq Composite index fell 85 points to reach 26,605 points, while the S&P 500 index dipped by about 4 points to stand at 7,753 points.
