The article highlights the university’s experience in building an effective partnership between academia and industry by integrating Huawei’s technologies and curricula into the educational process, promoting hands-on and practical learning, and connecting academic qualifications with practical skills and professional certifications.
These efforts contribute to enhancing students’ readiness for the demands of the labor market.
The article also documents several outcomes of this partnership, most notably the participation of more than 400 students in Huawei ICT Academy programs at ASPU during 2025.
It also highlights the university students’ participation in the Huawei Global Competition in China, where they won second place in the Computing track at the global finals for the 2023–2024 academic year.
The university later secured second place in the Cloud track for 2025–2026.
