Gold prices in Jordan’s local market edged lower on Wednesday, with the prices of 21- and 18-karat gold falling by 10 piasters, while 24-karat gold remained unchanged from the previous pricing, according to the General Syndicate of Owners of Trade and Jewelry Shops.
The selling price of one gram of 21-karat gold, the most popular among consumers in the local market, fell to JD 89.3 at jewelry stores, while the buying price stood at JD 85.3.
The selling price of 18-karat gold also declined to JD 79.1 per gram, while 24-karat gold remained stable at JD 102.4 per gram.
