Active Abu Dhabi, under Emirates Foundation, has announced its participation in the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) 2026, taking place from 28 August to 6 September 2026, in collaboration with PureHealth and Xplor. The participation forms part of Active Abu Dhabi’s efforts to expand opportunities for community engagement and encourage people to make movement and physical activity part of their daily lives.
Organised by ADNEC Group in cooperation with the Emirates Falconers’ Club, ADIHEX is one of the region’s leading events celebrating the UAE’s rich heritage and traditions across hunting, equestrianism and culture. The exhibition provides Active Abu Dhabi with an opportunity to engage diverse segments of the community and connect the concept of active living with different interests and experiences.
As part of its participation, Active Abu Dhabi, in collaboration with Xplor, will offer an interactive experience featuring stations inspired by rowing, shooting and reaction-speed challenges, in addition to a hammer challenge. The experiences will allow visitors to test a range of physical and cognitive abilities, including strength, endurance, reaction speed, accuracy, concentration and coordination. Combining movement, challenge and enjoyment, the activities encourage participants to discover their abilities and engage with active living in an innovative and enjoyable way.
In collaboration with PureHealth, Active Abu Dhabi will also introduce the PURA Steps Challenge, inviting exhibition visitors to achieve 6,000 steps per day and turn their journey around ADIHEX into an opportunity for movement and physical activity. Participants will also have the opportunity to win prizes across the different experiences and challenges, adding an element of friendly competition and encouraging greater participation.
These experiences reflect Active Abu Dhabi’s approach to integrating movement into everyday experiences in simple and enjoyable ways, while reaching people through the events that bring communities together. Through partnerships with government entities, private-sector partners and community organisations, Active Abu Dhabi continues to expand access to active-living opportunities across the emirate.
Mansour Al Dhaheri, Chairman of Active Abu Dhabi, said: “Our participation in the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition provides an opportunity to connect with diverse segments of the community through experiences that bring together movement, interaction and participation. At Active Abu Dhabi, we aim to make active-living opportunities more accessible to everyone through simple and enjoyable experiences that encourage visitors to move, discover their abilities and recognise that adopting a more active lifestyle can begin with everyday experiences available to all.”
He added: “Our vision is to build an integrated ecosystem that connects the community with opportunities for movement and participation throughout the year. Our participation in the exhibition is one of the ways we can reach people and encourage more individuals and families to discover different ways to move and make physical activity part of their daily lives.”
Active Abu Dhabi’s participation in the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition forms part of its year-round calendar of events and community programmes designed to engage different age groups across the emirate, strengthening its position as a unified reference for active living in Abu Dhabi and supporting the emirate’s ambitions to enhance quality of life and build a healthier, more active community.
