The total trading volume on the Amman Stock Exchange reached JOD 10 million on Monday, with 4.9 million shares traded across 3,856 transactions.
The general stock price index dropped by 0.22% to close at 3,978 points. Sectorally, the financial sector index declined by 0.44%, whereas the industrial sector index rose by 0.17% and the services sector index edged up by 0.08%.
Comparing the closing prices of the 107 traded companies against their previous closes, 30 companies recorded share price gains, while 42 companies experienced declines.
