The value of commercial exports (re-exports) from Zarqa City reached JD 57,994,297 last September, according to statistics based on 568 certificates of origin issued by the Zarqa Chamber of Commerce and its office in the Zarqa Free Zone.
President of the Zarqa Chamber of Commerce, Hussein Shreim, said in a press statement on Thursday that cars and their parts accounted for the largest share of commercial exports last September, alongside building materials, sanitary equipment, medicines and related supplies, food products, clothing, jewelry, electrical and electronic appliances, household and office furniture, and stationery.
He noted that the value of commercial exports from Zarqa City in September last year stood at around JD 38 million, reflecting an increase in the value of commercial exports during the same month this year.
