MilkStraw AI, a pioneer in intelligent cloud cost optimisation software, today announced it has raised $600,000 in pre-seed funding. The round was led by Flat6Labs, with participation from Angel Spark, Beyond Capital, and notable angel investors. The funding will accelerate MilkStraw AI’s mission to transform how fast-growing companies manage and optimize their cloud infrastructure costs.

MilkStraw AI’s platform addresses a critical challenge facing modern businesses: the complexity and inefficiency of cloud cost management. Since its launch in April 2024, the company has attracted hundreds of clients, including prominent regional technology companies such as Magnitt, Voltlines, Netwatch, Floranow, MakanE, and IdenTV.

“Companies shouldn’t waste valuable engineering time manually optimising cloud costs when they could be building products and driving innovation,” said Jawad Shreim, CEO of MilkStraw AI. “Our platform automates this process, allowing teams to focus on what truly matters—creating impact through their core business.”

The funding round attracted significant interest from experienced technology leaders and entrepreneurs. Notable angel investors include:

  • Karim Chouikri, Former CEO at Emakina
  • Ghassan Halawa, Founder & CEO of Parachute16
  • Mahesh Murthy, Founder of Pinstorm
  • Imad Ghazareddine, Founder & CEO of Mamo
  • Hisham Abu Bakr, Founder & CEO of Dimitries

“MilkStraw AI’s approach to cloud cost optimisation represents the future of infrastructure management,” said Mohanad Elhartany, Senior Investment Associate at Oraseya Capital, previously at Flat6Labs at the time of investment. “Their rapid customer adoption and innovative technology platform demonstrate the significant market need for their solution. We’re excited to support their growth and vision for transforming how companies handle cloud costs.”

  • The pre-Seed funding will enable MilkStraw AI to:
  • Expand its engineering and development teams
  • Accelerate product development and feature releases
  • Enhance customer support capabilities
  • Expand market presence across the MENA region
