Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Dr. Saleh Kharabsheh, chaired on Thursday the regular meeting of liaison officers for the energy and mining sectors to review work reports concerning the second executive program of the Economic Modernization Vision (2026–2029) and the achievement rates reached in both sectors by the end of June 2026.
He called for intensifying efforts and maintaining continuous operations to achieve the Vision’s targets, particularly in expanding the use of clean energy, improving the efficiency of the electrical grid, reducing energy costs, and promoting environmental sustainability concepts.
During the meeting, Kharabsheh highlighted the importance of adhering to the targets of the second executive program of the Economic Modernization Vision (2026–2029). He also stressed the need for ongoing communication with relevant partners to ensure that required tasks are completed within the designated timelines.
He noted that the energy and mining sectors serve as a primary cornerstone for boosting the national economy and empowering all other sectors, commending the private sector’s partnership in implementing the Vision’s projects and its contribution to supporting economic growth and achieving sustainable development.
