HyperMax, the grocery retail brand wholly owned and
operated by Majid Al Futtaim in Jordan, is marking its second anniversary in the Kingdom, celebrating two years of delivering
exceptional value, quality, and a trusted shopping experience to its customers,
while expanding partnerships with
local suppliers and producers, and continuing
to invest in the communities it serves.
To mark the milestone, HyperMax is launching “Our Anniversary,
Your Moment to Celebrate,” a
month-long campaign
across its 29 stores and digital platform, offering compelling promotions and major discounts
across selected food and non-food categories.
Customers spending JOD 15 or more, either in-store or
online, will also have the opportunity to participate in the “Shop & Win” campaign, with daily prizes including free shopping trolleys and a grand prize of one
year of free shopping for three winners.
Throughout the anniversary month, HyperMax stores
will host a programme of weekend activities,
including children’s workshops, supplier sampling experiences and community-focused activations.
Members of the HyMax loyalty programme will receive access to exclusive promotions, special
discounts and member-only prize draws.
This year, the programme has delivered more than JOD 700,000 in rewards to members, reinforcing HyperMax’s focus on
creating greater everyday value for its customers.
Jerome Akel, Vice President of
Commercial and Marketing at Majid Al Futtaim Retail – HyperMax Jordan, said: “Over the past two years, HyperMax has continued to
grow alongside our customers, colleagues, suppliers and partners in Jordan.
This anniversary is an opportunity to thank
them for the trust they have placed in us and to celebrate the progress we have made together.
“Our strong performance
across both our stores and digital channels reflects how customer expectations continue to evolve
and gives us confidence in the opportunity ahead.
As we
enter our third year, our focus remains on delivering greater choice, quality, affordability and convenience, while strengthening our partnerships with local producers and creating a positive impact in the communities we
serve.”
HyperMax’s growth in Jordan is underpinned by a strong local supply
ecosystem.
The retailer works with more than 500 local suppliers and SMEs, while approximately one quarter of its fresh produce is sourced directly from Jordanian farms, supporting local businesses and helping bring
locally produced goods closer to customers across the Kingdom.
HyperMax has also made
significant progress in developing its local workforce. To date, the retailer
has created 1,000 direct and 300 indirect job opportunities, further showcasing
its commitment to developing local talent and supporting Jordan’s economic
growth.
Community investment has remained another important
part of HyperMax’s presence in Jordan. During Ramadan this year, HyperMax partnered with Tkiyet
Um Ali to support families in
need through weekly
meals, raising more than JOD 11,000 through its stores and mobile
application.
In August 2026, HyperMax also partnered with the Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans to support the education of
orphaned youth, raising JOD 14,900 through
customer contributions made at checkout and through its digital channels.
As HyperMax enters its third year
in Jordan, the retailer will
continue to advance its omnichannel offering, deepen partnerships with local suppliers and SMEs, and invest in modern, accessible shopping experiences designed around the evolving needs of customers across
the Kingdom.
