Abu Dhabi, UAE – 2 December 2025: H.E. Khalid Ali Al Bustani, Director-General of the Federal Tax Authority (FTA), today affirmed that the celebration of the 54th Eid Al Etihad comes at an important stage in history, during which the wisdom of the UAE leadership continues to affect efforts and national contributions that are shaping the future of the country’s ongoing journey of growth and prosperity – across all sectors.

His Excellency said: “We extend our highest expressions of gratitude and appreciation to H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and to H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and to their Highnesses the Rulers of the Emirates and Members of the UAE Supreme Council, for their noble efforts, wisdom and guidance that continue to strengthen the UAE’s leading position regionally and globally.

“At the Federal Tax Authority, we reaffirm our commitment to continue our efforts to keep pace with this national leadership, and to enhance the contribution of the tax sector to sustainable economic growth through our vision as a globally leading tax authority supporting financial sustainability.”

His Excellency, the Director-General added: “We proudly recall the remarkable journey and achievements of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and his fellow founding fathers, who laid the foundations of our nation that continue to inspire the world with the UAE’s exceptional social and economic progress. They succeeded in instilling a deep sense of belonging among our people, enabling us, under our wise leadership, to remain among the happiest nations in the world.”
