Amman Stock Exchange: Listed Companies' Net Profit Rises 14.3% in First Half

The net profit after tax attributable to shareholders for public shareholding companies listed on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) rose by 14.3% during the first half of 2026, reaching 1.200 billion JOD, compared to 1.050 billion JOD during the same period in 2025.

Semi-annual financial data reviewed by Al Mamlaka on Sunday revealed sector-by-sector performance for H1 2026:

Financial Sector: Profits increased by 6.7%, reaching 687.231 million JOD, up from 644.375 million JOD in the corresponding period of 2025.

Services Sector: Recorded the highest growth rate among all sectors, jumping 64.3% to reach 128.134 million JOD, compared to 78.000 million JOD in H1 2025.

Industrial Sector: Profits grew by 17.5%, totaling 385.130 million JOD, compared to 327.726 million JOD during the same period last year.

According to the data, out of 155 companies listed on the Amman Stock Exchange, 153 companies submitted their semi-annual financial results, while two companies failed to submit their data as of the preparation date.
