Bybit, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, has expanded its Islamic Account with 20 additional Shariah-compliant trading pairs, the first batches that will bring the total number of new pairs to 100 this year.
The newly added pairs include: NIGHT/USDT, XPL/USDT, SOMI/USDT, MON/USDT, IP/USDT, RECALL/USDT, CC/USDT, SEI/USDT, ZKC/USDT, ZORA/USDT, WAL/USDT, XAN/USDT, STRK/USDT, AI16Z/USDT, ATH/USDT, ZBT/USDT, S/USDT, 2Z/USDT, CAMP/USDT, and INIT/USDT.
Each verified Shariah-compliant pair has undergone review by Bybit’s Shariah advisory partners to confirm compliance with Islamic finance principles prior to listing. The expansion will continue in stages, with new pairs introduced approximately every two weeks.
“We believe access to digital assets should not require users to compromise their values. By expanding our Islamic Account, we’re giving Muslim <a href="https://jordangazette.com/gold-falls-as-traders-await-u-s-jobs-data/”>traders greater choice while maintaining the rigorous Shariah review process behind every supported asset. This is part of our long-term commitment to building a more inclusive digital asset ecosystem,,” said Derek Dai, Head of Bybit MENA.
Since its introduction, Bybit’s Islamic Account has been positioned as a dedicated offering for users seeking a trading experience consistent with Islamic financial principles, designed to eliminate interest (riba) and provide transparent fee structures. Bybit was among the first global cryptocurrency exchanges to introduce a fully Shariah-compliant account, developed in consultation with Shariah advisory scholars.
The account provides access to Spot Trading, Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA) Bots, and Spot Grid Bots, alongside other Shariah-compliant products, allowing users to build and manage positions in a manner consistent with their values and beliefs.
Demand for Shariah-aligned financial products continues to grow across the Middle East and other Muslim-majority markets, alongside increasing participation in digital assets. By broadening the range of approved trading pairs, Bybit aims to give Muslim users greater choice within a dedicated environment designed around Islamic finance principles.
The latest upgrade reflects Bybit’s ongoing commitment to serving the Muslim trading community with an account architecture grounded in transparency, fairness, and faithful adherence to Islamic financial principles, and that further enhancements to the Islamic Account are planned as part of this continued effort.
