The peak electricity load recorded on Monday reached 4,140 megawatts (MW), according to data from the National Electric Power Company (NEPCO).
The company confirmed that the Kingdom’s electrical grid maintains high reliability and that NEPCO, as part of structured plans, has stepped up its readiness to meet growing electrical loads amid rising temperatures and increased power demand.
NEPCO also emphasized the importance of rationalizing electricity consumption, particularly during peak hours, to support the stability and reliability of the national power grid.
