Local gold prices rose on Monday by 40 piastres for 21-karat and 18-karat gold, and by 50 piastres for 24-karat gold, according to the General Syndicate of Owners of Jewelry and Goldsmith Shops.
According to the daily price list, the selling price per gram of 21-karat gold rose to 83 dinars from jewelry shops, compared to a buying price of 79 dinars.
The selling price per gram for 24-karat and 18-karat gold also increased to 95.3 and 73.4 dinars, respectively.
