Fifteen Jordanian companies specializing in food industries, cosmetics, and packaging will begin participating next Tuesday in three specialized international trade fairs being held simultaneously at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
According to a statement issued Saturday by the Jordan Exporters Association, the participating companies will take part in Gulfood Manufacturing 2026, the 2026 Sweets and Snacks Expo, and the 2026 Private Label Expo, with the Amman Chamber of Industry participating as part of the Jordanian pavilion.
Chairman of the association, Senator Ahmad Khudari, said the Jordanian participation organized by the association represents an important step toward strengthening the Kingdom’s industrial presence in regional and global markets. He noted that the events serve as specialized commercial platforms bringing together large numbers of manufacturers, suppliers, importers, and brand owners from around the world.
Khudari said the participation is part of the association’s strategy to expand export markets for Jordanian products and increase opportunities to reach new importers and customers, contributing to higher national exports and greater geographic diversification of export destinations.
He explained that specialized international exhibitions provide Jordanian industrial companies with real opportunities to showcase their products and highlight their quality and competitiveness, while also building new business partnerships and keeping pace with the latest developments in manufacturing, packaging, and supply chains.
He noted that the importance of participating in these exhibitions stems from the sectors they cover, including food industries, confectionery and snacks, cosmetics and personal care products, household goods, as well as manufacturing, packaging, and processing technologies. These are areas in which Jordanian industry has promising opportunities to expand its presence.
Khudari said Jordanian industrial products enjoy a strong reputation in many foreign markets due to their quality, compliance with approved specifications and standards, and competitive prices. He stressed that these advantages provide Jordanian companies with important opportunities to expand internationally.
He added that higher industrial exports have a direct impact on domestic economic activity by stimulating production, increasing demand for national products, and expanding factories’ production capacity, thereby creating more employment opportunities for Jordanians and strengthening the industrial sector’s contribution to economic growth.
Khudari also highlighted the importance of the Amman Chamber of Industry’s participation in the Jordanian pavilion at the three exhibitions, stressing the need for cooperation and coordination among institutions and entities involved in the industrial sector to strengthen Jordan’s presence at international economic events.
For his part, Director General of the association Halim Abu Rahma said the Jordanian delegation comprises 15 industrial companies representing the sectors covered by the three events. This provides an opportunity to showcase the diversity of national products and their ability to meet the needs of different markets.
He explained that the 12th edition of Gulfood Manufacturing 2026 focuses on five main sectors: food ingredients, processing, manufacturing, packaging and packaging equipment, supply chains, and control and automation. This makes it a specialized platform for exploring the latest solutions and technologies used in food industries and production processes.
He said participation in the exhibition will enable Jordanian companies to learn about modern technologies used to develop production processes, improve efficiency, and enhance product quality, while exploring opportunities for cooperation with international companies operating in manufacturing and packaging.
Abu Rahma added that the 19th edition of the 2026 Sweets and Snacks Expo is specialized in chocolate, confectionery, biscuits, cakes, traditional sweets, ice cream, and snack products.
He explained that Jordanian participation aims to capitalize on the international presence to promote national products, explore commercial cooperation opportunities with importers and distributors, and identify global demand trends in the confectionery and snacks sector.
Abu Rahma stressed that Jordan’s food industries have promising opportunities to expand into foreign markets, given the progress they have made in product quality and diversity and their ability to meet consumer requirements in different markets.
Regarding the 2026 Private Label Expo, he said the exhibition covers a wide range of sectors, including food and beverages, cosmetics and personal care, household products, and packaging. This provides Jordanian companies with multiple opportunities to connect with brand owners, importers, and distributors.
He noted that manufacturing for private-label brands represents an important opportunity for Jordanian companies to increase exports and capitalize on their production capabilities by supplying foreign markets with products manufactured according to the requirements of importing companies and brands.
He said organizing Jordanian participation in three specialized exhibitions during the same period reflects the association’s commitment to diversifying commercial opportunities for national companies and reaching the widest possible range of international buyers, importers, and manufacturers.
Abu Rahma noted that the presence of Jordanian companies within national pavilions helps strengthen Jordan’s industrial identity and gives local products greater visibility among visitors and industry professionals, while facilitating direct communication with targeted commercial partners.
He stressed that the participation of the Amman Chamber of Industry in the Jordanian pavilion represents an important addition to efforts to promote national industry and reflects the importance of cooperation among entities working to develop exports and enhance the competitiveness of Jordanian products in foreign markets.
He also affirmed that the association will continue organizing Jordanian participation in specialized international exhibitions and expanding the range of targeted markets, supporting efforts to increase national exports and strengthen the presence of Jordanian products in global markets.
