01 December 2025- Union Day stands as a powerful symbol of our nation’s unity – an occasion to renew our loyalty to our wise leadership and honour the legacy of the Founding Fathers, whose collective will shaped a prosperous and unified country. It is a celebration of a Union established with human welfare as its ultimate objective, guided by a forward-looking vision, and strengthened by a national ethos built on the belief that nothing is impossible.

The celebration of the 54th Union Day, held under the slogan “United”, embodies the highest values of belonging and cohesion among the people of the UAE, and showcases the unique Emirati model of fraternity and solidarity shared by all who call the United Arab Emirates home.

On this day, we commemorate a defining moment in our nation’s collective memory, reflecting on the UAE’s remarkable journey of development and progress. We recall with pride the historic moment when the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, together with the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum and the other Founding Fathers, laid the firm foundations of the Union to fulfil the aspirations of the people of this nation.

On this cherished occasion, the Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai (SLC) is honoured to extend its heartfelt congratulations and highest regards to H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE; H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; Their Highnesses the Members of the Federal Supreme Council, Rulers of the Emirates; the Crown Princes; the citizens of the UAE; and all residents of the UAE who call this nation home.

We reiterate that this day will always be a moment to renew our dedication to supporting the country’s path of progress and growth, remaining loyal to the legacy of the Founding Fathers, strengthening the spirit of the Union, and drawing inspiration from the vision of our wise leadership, which continues to place global excellence as a national aspiration.”
