The Russian Ministry of Energy announced on Monday that natural gas supplies to Turkey dropped by 4 percent during the first half of the current year compared to the same period last year, amidst a decline in volumes exported via pipelines between the two countries.
In a press statement, the Russian Ministry of Energy stated that Turkey imported 1.27 billion cubic meters of gas via the “TurkStream” and “Blue Stream” pipelines last May, bringing total imports from January through the end of May to 9.6 billion cubic meters.
