Interprefy, a global provider of Remote Simultaneous Interpretation (RSI) and AI-powered live translation, today announced it has joined the Cvent App Marketplace under the Accessibility category. The listing gives Cvent’s roughly 30,000 customers, including 70% of the Fortune 500, direct access to human interpretation, AI speech translation, and live captions and subtitles, deployable across onsite, online and hybrid events, without leaving the platform they already use to plan and manage their programmes.
The move responds to a shift already underway in the events industry. Continued growth in hybrid and virtual formats remains one of the top trends planners expect to shape their programmes this year, and English is the native or second language of only 17% of the world’s population. For organisers running global programmes on Cvent, language access has typically meant sourcing and integrating a separate vendor mid-planning. Interprefy’s listing removes that step, putting multilingual support inside the platform planners already use.
Through the listing, Cvent users can add two layers of language support. Interprefy’s network of over 6,000 professional interpreters delivers Remote Simultaneous Interpretation for sessions where accuracy and nuance are critical. Interprefy AI extends that coverage with live speech translation, captions and subtitles in more than 80 languages at once. Organisers can run either service through Interprefy’s professional services team or directly on the platform, at any scale, from a single breakout session to a multi-day global conference.
“Planners running events on Cvent shouldn’t have to leave the platform to solve for language,” said Sue Yardley, Global Head of Corporate Sales and Strategic Partnerships at Interprefy. “That’s the whole point of this listing: interpretation and AI speech translation become a checkbox in the tools they already use, not a separate vendor search two weeks before an event. It gives Cvent’s customers a much lower bar for making an event multilingual, whether that’s one breakout room or the main stage.”
Today’s event organisers and marketers often rely on several different technology systems to deliver successful and impactful event programmes. Without proper integration, the result is disjointed experiences and disconnected data. Cvent created the Cvent App Marketplace as a space to collaborate with other leading technology companies to deliver fully integrated solutions that enhance every part of the event lifecycle.
“We’re excited to expand our Marketplace with organisations like Interprefy as we work together to power a more connected event tech ecosystem,” said Mike Tenholder, Global Head of Alliance Partnerships at Cvent.
The Cvent App Marketplace, created by industry-leading event technology provider Cvent, provides a centralised location for planners and marketers to easily discover SaaS solutions and other complementary technology partners that integrate with the Cvent platform to help drive even greater event success. The marketplace also enables other leading technology partners to develop on top of the Cvent platform and build ready-to-use apps, helping to expand and personalise the platform capabilities.
