Central Bank Issues New Treasury Bonds Worth 100 Million Dinars

The Central Bank of Jordan, on behalf of the government, issued the 29th issue of treasury bonds for the current year on Monday, valued at 100 million dinars.

According to data from the bank reviewed by “Al-Mamlaka,” the maturity date for the current issue is July 21, 2029, while the bank indicated that the settlement date is July 21, 2026.

Treasury bonds are long-term financing instruments with maturities ranging from two to twenty years, varying between government/treasury bonds and corporate bonds.

Meanwhile, treasury bills are short-term government debt instruments issued for maturities ranging from 3 to 12 months. They are characterized as low-risk financial instruments and are traded in financial markets through buying and selling.
