Public finance data for the first five months of the current year showed an increase in capital expenditures by approximately 28 million dinars compared to the same period in 2025, reaching around 452 million dinars.
According to the Ministry of Finance, capital spending focused on several development projects for which financial allocations were earmarked in the General Budget Law. These include the Risha gas field development project, the construction and equipping of Princess Basma Hospital, the construction and equipping of Ma’an Military Hospital, the National Employment Program, as well as vocational and technical education development projects.
