Total trading volume on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) reached 19 million dinars on Tuesday, with 9.4 million shares traded through 5,493 transactions.
The general share price index rose to 3,957 points, marking a 0.07% increase. On a sectoral level, the financial sector index increased by 0.47%, while the industrial sector index fell by 0.86%, and the services sector index declined by 0.20%.
Comparing the closing prices of the 100 traded companies with their previous closures, 45 companies showed an increase in their stock prices, while 26 companies recorded a decrease.
