Three-time GRAMMY award winner Wouter Kellerman with an award-winning lineup deliver a heartfelt performance

Dubai, January 19, 2026: Alpen Capital and Alpen Asset Advisors’ 22nd Global Fusion concert featured a captivating performance by a lineup of acclaimed artists, including six performers who together have earned nine GRAMMY awards across various years.

Staying true to its theme, Timeless Rhythms, the concert reminded it’s audience that even as the world evolves, the pulse of music endures – connecting, inspiring, and bringing everyone together in harmony.

The concert was dedicated to the memory of the organisation’s late Executive Chairman and CEO, Rohit Walia, who passed away on the eve of the event. In consultation with his family, the organisation took the difficult but meaningful decision to proceed, honouring his life, his love for music, and the values he stood for.

The concert was led by Wouter Kellerman on the flute, a three-time GRAMMY Award–winning producer, composer, and philanthropist whose artistry bridges cultures across the globe. He was joined by a remarkable ensemble of global talent: Vesislava Todorova from Bulgaria on the cello, Mauritz Lotz from South Africa on the guitar, Wessel van Rensburg from Netherlands on the keyboards, Hamid Saeidi from Iran on the santoor, MB Gordy from the USA on percussion and Carlos E. Rodriguez from Cuba on bass.

Adding a profound spiritual resonance to the evening, Chandrika Tandon, an Indian American business leader, philanthropist, and internationally acclaimed vocalist, performed traditional and ancient Sanskrit chants, bringing a soulful depth to the compositions.

At the 2025 GRAMMY Awards, the collaboration between Wouter Kellerman, Chandrika Tandon and Japanese cellist Eru Matsumoto, won a GRAMMY for their album Triveni in the Best New Age, Ambient, or Chant Album category.

As always, the concert also provided a platform for local talent, featuring Emirati artiste Abdel Rahman Al Blooshi on the oud.

Global Fusion is the flagship client event of Alpen Capital and Alpen Asset Advisors. Over the years, it has established itself as one of the highlights of the UAE’s social calendar, bringing together acclaimed global artistes to deliver an extraordinary musical experience. The concert also serves as a platform for talented UAE national artists, offering them the unique opportunity to perform alongside world-renowned international performers.
