Jordan’s foreign exchange reserves rose by around $3.0 billion, or 11.7%, by the end of September 2026 compared with their level at the end of 2025, reaching $28.5 billion.
Data from the Central Bank of Jordan, reviewed by Al Mamlaka, showed that the current level of reserves is sufficient to cover the Kingdom’s imports of goods and services for approximately 9.2 months.
The reserves are more than three times the international benchmark for adequate foreign exchange reserves.
