Gold prices in Jordan’s local market rose by 30 fils per gram on Saturday, according to the daily pricing issued by the General Syndicate of Owners of Trade and Jewellery Shops.
The price of 21-karat gold, the most popular grade among Jordanians, reached JD88.90 per gram for sales by jewellery shops, while the buying price stood at JD84.90 per gram.
Meanwhile, the selling prices of 24-karat and 18-karat gold reached JD101.90 and JD78.70 per gram, respectively, for purchases from jewellery shops.
