Valu Jordan and Zbooni Jordan Sign Strategic Partnership to Enable Flexible Payment Solutions for Digital Commerce

Updated:

Valu
Jordan, a leading universal financial technology powerhouse in the Middle East
and North Africa (MENA), and Zbooni Jordan, a conversational e-commerce
platform serving small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the MENA
region, have signed a strategic partnership agreement to support the growth of
digital commerce in Jordan.

The
partnership will help merchants and SMEs on Zbooni’s platform digitize their
sales and customer interactions across communication and conversational channels,
without the need to develop additional infrastructure. With more than 1,000
merchants on its platform, Zbooni will enable its users to offer Valu’s Buy
Now, Pay Later (BNPL) solution as a payment option to their customers, subject
to the applicable credit limits approved by Valu.

By
integrating Valu’s payment solutions with Zbooni’s technology, the partnership
will enable merchants and service providers across a range of sectors,
particularly retail, to benefit from digital tools for managing orders,
accepting payments, and offering flexible payment options.

This will help
merchants reach more customers, support business growth, broaden consumer
choice, and create a more seamless shopping and payment experience.

The
partnership comes as digital commerce continues to grow as an important channel
for businesses to reach customers, while SMEs increasingly rely on digital
tools to market their products, manage orders, and complete sales.
Commenting
on the partnership, Mohammad Al Yousef, CEO of Valu Jordan, said, “Our
partnership with Zbooni marks an important step in expanding Valu’s presence
within Jordan’s digital commerce ecosystem and making flexible payment
solutions more accessible across everyday shopping experiences.

By bringing
together our capabilities, we aim to create greater value for both merchants
and customers, supporting local businesses with the digital and financial tools
they need to offer more flexible payment options in line with the evolving
landscape of commerce and shopping patterns in Jordan.”
Ahmad
Fakhreddin, General Manager of Zbooni Jordan, added, “Our partnership with Valu
represents another strategic step in Zbooni’s journey to enable businesses to
sell and grow digitally.

We are proud that Zbooni is the first digital commerce
platform to offer Valu’s solutions as a payment option in Jordan, bringing
together conversational commerce, order management, payment acceptance, and
flexible payment solutions within a more integrated experience for merchants
and customers.

Our goal is to remove complexity for SMEs and help them turn
every customer interaction into an opportunity for sales and growth. We are
also building on the successful collaboration between Zbooni and Valu in Egypt
and look forward to developing this model to deliver tangible value to the
Jordanian market and support the continued evolution of the Kingdom’s digital
commerce ecosystem.”

The
partnership is part of Valu Jordan’s strategy to expand its network of channels
and partnerships across the Kingdom and make Buy Now, Pay Later solutions
available through a wider range of digital and commercial touchpoints.

Since
officially launching its operations in Jordan in May 2026, following final
approval from the Central Bank of Jordan and the completion of the required
regulatory and operational processes, Valu has continued to build partnerships
with institutions, platforms, and brands across a range of sectors.

These
efforts are aimed at providing flexible payment solutions that respond to the
evolving needs of customers and merchants.
