Gold Prices Rise in Jordan, 21K Reaches JD89.5

Gold prices in Jordan’s local market rose by varying amounts in Thursday morning’s pricing, compared with the previous quotation.

The price of 24-karat gold increased by JD2.3 per gram, while 21-karat gold rose by JD2, and 18-karat gold increased by JD1.8.

According to the General Syndicate of Owners of Shops Trading in and Crafting Jewelry and Precious Metals, the selling price of 21-karat gold at jewelry stores rose to JD89.5 per gram, while the buying price stood at JD85.6.

The selling price of 24-karat gold also increased to JD103 per gram, compared with JD99 for buying.

Meanwhile, the selling price of 18-karat gold reached around JD79.5 per gram, while the buying price stood at JD73.2.
