The Central Bank of Russia on Saturday announced an increase in the official exchange rate of the ruble against the U.S. dollar and Chinese yuan. The ruble strengthened against the dollar by 43.39 kopecks, bringing the dollar exchange rate to approximately 82.92 rubles.
The Central Bank of Russia said in a statement that the ruble weakened against the euro by 12.66 kopecks, bringing the euro exchange rate to approximately 96.86 rubles, while the ruble strengthened against the yuan by 7.14 kopecks, with the yuan reaching approximately 12.33 rubles.
