Jordan
Ahli Bank sponsored
the 2026 West Asia Basketball Association (WABA) U18 Championship, which was hosted
in Amman from 7 to 11 July and organized by the West Asia Basketball
Association in cooperation with the Jordan Basketball Federation.
The championship, an
important regional sporting event for emerging talent, brought together the
national teams of Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Iran, Iraq and Syria to compete
for three qualifying spots at the FIBA U18 Asia Cup. It also provided an opportunity
to promote competitiveness, sportsmanship and excellence among young players.
Lebanon, Iran and Syria secured qualification for the continental tournament.
