The number of transactions executed through the “eFAWATEERcom” system rose by 2.8% in June 2026, reaching 7.06 million transactions compared to 6.86 million in May. Meanwhile, the value of transactions increased by 6% to reach 1.26 billion dinars, up from 1.19 billion dinars in the previous month.
According to the monthly payment systems report issued by the Jordan Payments and Clearing Company (JoPACC), the total number of transactions executed through eFAWATEERcom since the beginning of the year reached 40.99 million, with a total value of 7.78 billion dinars.
The total number of eFAWATEERcom users in June reached 5.29 million, an increase of 0.8% compared to 5.25 million users in May and 5.21 million users in April.
Data showed that active users reached 5.25 million, accounting for 99.2% of total users, while new users reached 42.45 thousand, representing 0.8%.
The data also indicated that the number of billers on the system reached 727, offering 2,528 services.
The telecommunications sector accounted for the highest number of transactions executed via eFAWATEERcom in June with 2.2 million transactions, followed by water and electricity with 1.99 million, government services with 1.59 million, mobile wallets and payment service providers with 557 thousand, finance and financial services with 323 thousand, education with 126 thousand, transport and travel with 60 thousand, gas and energy with 38 thousand, syndicates and organizations with 37 thousand, and trade and services with 33 thousand.
By payment method, digitally processed transactions reached 5.8 million, representing 82.2% of total transactions, compared to 1.26 million cash-based transactions, accounting for 17.8%.
In terms of transaction value, government services held the largest share in June with 816 million dinars, followed by mobile wallets and payment service providers with 166 million dinars, water and electricity with 79 million dinars, finance and financial services with 69 million dinars, telecommunications with 37 million dinars, education with 33 million dinars, banks with 17 million dinars, trade and services with 16 million dinars, and gas and energy with 13 million dinars, while syndicates and organizations recorded 10 million dinars.
The value of digital payment transactions reached 1.1 billion dinars, representing 88% of the total transaction value, compared to 151.9 million dinars for cash-based payments, accounting for 12%.
The average value per transaction rose to 179 dinars in June, compared to 174 dinars in May.
